The 2009 Big Sky Thunder National Pro Hillclimb is round three of the Malcolm Smith/Racer X/NAHA Pro Hillclimb series. The 2009 season has already heated up to be an exciting year, knowing that it will be down to the last race before a champion is crowned. This event takes place in Columbus MT. On Friday June 19th and Saturday June 20th Fathers Day weekend. Bring dad out to enjoy the 200-horse power, Nitro burning, insane Hillclimb bikes, and a crowd favorite pyrotechnic Fathers day firework show. Come be part of Montana’s biggest motor sports event. This is expected to be the most competitive year in NAHA history. Don’t miss the 2009 Big Sky Thunder National Hillclimb, when the lights go out, the big bikes come out!!
EVENT SCHEDULE
Friday starts at 4:00 with 450 qualifier, approx. 2 hrs
700 qualifier, approx. 2.5 hrs
Intermission
Open class at dark (9:00) Fireworks Pyro-Tech show
Saturday starts at 3:00 with 700 main, approx. 2 hrs
450 main, approx. 1 hr
700 class verticross, approx. 2 hrs
Intermission
Open main at dark Fireworks Pyro-Tech show
Verticross riders will be the top 16 riders from 700 main. If somebody doesn't want to ride then the next rider down can until 16 spots are filled. There will be no steel in the verticross.
Payout for verticross. 1st 800.00 - 2nd 400.00 - 3rd 200.00
If you are in the Billings area on Thursday June 18th make sure to stop by Hi Mountain Recreation located on 7175 Trade Center Ave to meet the top NAHA riders, check out their insane equipment, and get some autographs. These riders will be handing out Posters and we will be throwing out Big Sky Thunder National t-shirts. Once you meet these riders and see these nitro burning, earth shattering, insane Hillclimb machines, you will not want to miss the 2009 Big Sky Thunder National Hillclimb. This will be going from 4:00 to 7:00 Thursday night

An all new format this year is going to make these Open Class riders compete in the dark, under the lights, that’s right when the sun goes down.
